NC Pro-Am Skills And Development Camp
S.J.G. Greater NC Sports has
quickly become one of the most prominent basketball
organizations in the country.
The NC Pro-Am program has been highlighted by
numerous sports publications including: Sports
Illustrated, Raleigh News & Observer, and the Durham
Herald Sun.
Slam Magazine wrote that the Pro-Am has “the
hottest competition in summer league
basketball.”
ESPN states that experience in the league is
“invaluable” for upcoming and college players.
S.J.G. Greater NC Pro-Am also has numerous clips
on websites from HoopMixtape.com to BallIsLife.com.
Over the past four years the NC Pro-Am has hosted
dozens of McDonald’s All Americans, as well as two
consecutive #1 draft picks.
Additionally, the organization has seen numerous
overall draft picks, too may to count.
S.J.G. Greater NC Sports is looking for future
stars. The
league will be holding the NC Pro-Am Sills and
Development Camp on August 13 and 14.
Camp is open to rising 6th grade
through 12th grade students.
It is designed for the strong and dedicated
player looking to take his game to the next level.
Camp will include multiple combine drill tests
and scores to help each athlete identify strengths and
weaknesses.
Statistics for each participant will be uploaded to
Underarmour 360.
Players will receive coaching from Rasheed
Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse, two gladiators with over
30 years of combined NBA experience, 6 NBA All-Stars,
and 1 NBA Championship.
Coaching will target skills such as: spacing, 1
on 1, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, ball handling and positioning.
This is an opportunity for athletes to make a
name as one of the top players in the country.
Athletes will be seen and evaluated by some of
the top names in sports media such as ESPN, SLAM
Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Sporting News.
Players also may receive nominations to attend
some of the most prestigious basketball camps in the
country including John Wall Reebok Breakout Camp.

Coaches
Jerry Stackhouse is a professional basketball player who started his college basketball career with the University of North Carolina and later played professionally for the Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami Heat. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie during his first season in the NBA. During this career he was also chosen as an NBA All-Star two times.
Rasheed Wallace a power forward from Philadelphia who spent his college career at the University of North Carolina. Following college Wallace played in the NBA for 15 years. For almost 10 years he played a major role as a member of the Portland Trailblazers. He has received awards such as NBA All-Rookie and NBA All Star. He made two championship appearances and won an NBA Championship in 2004 with the Detroit Pistons.
Antwan Jamison is currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers as a power forward. He attended the University of North Carolina from 1995 – 1998 before entering the NBA and playing for the Golden State Warriors. Jamison played for the USA National team in 2006 winning the FIBA World Championship and is also a two time NBA All-Star.
As professional basketball player Raymond Felton is currently playing for the Portland Trail Blazers. After playing assisting North Carolina Tar Heels to the 2005 National Championship he was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats. He has also played for the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets.
Jawad Williams, from Lakewood , Ohio, is currently signed with Hapoel Jerusalem Basketball Club in Israel. Following his college career at UNC Williams played for the Los Angeles Clippers. After a short career in the NBA he travelled to Spain, Japan and Israel before returning to the US and playing one season with Cleveland Cavaliers.
Sean May is a professional basketball player currently playing with Fenerbahce Ulker in Turkey. In 2002 May was chosen as a McDonald’s all American and went on to play at the University of North Carolina. After winning the 2005 National Championship he went to the NBA playing for the Charlotte Bobcats.
Donald Williams is a 6’ 3” and was a point guard/shooting guard. He played collegiate basketball for UNC and won the 1993 National Championship against the University of Michigan. Williams played professionally overseas in countries such as Cyprus, Austraia, France, Poland, Germany and Greece.
The Milwaukee Bucks drafted David Noel in the 2006 following his collegiate career at UNC. During college he was a member of the 2005 National Championship Team. Noel has also played for several NBDL teams as well as the Philippine Basketball Association and the Chorale Roanne in France.
Josh Powell formerly played for the NC State Wolfpack Basketball Team. In 2003 he left the US to play in Europe and returned later to play for the Dallas Mavericks. During his career he has played for the Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers and LA Lakers. In 2008 he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers and won two consecutive championships with the Lakers.
Chris Wilcox played college basketball for the University of Maryland and in 2002 he brought the Terrapins their first NCAA championship. As a professional athlete he played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Seattle SuperSonics, Oklahoma City Thunder and the New York Knicks. He is currently signed to the Detroit Pistons.
A multi-talented player Anthony Wilkins attended Kent State University. Following college he began a professional career with the ABA’s Atlanta Vision, before moving on to the NBA. He played in the Atlanta Hawks summer league, Ft. Worth Flyers and Tulsa 66ers Developmental league and last played for the NBA with the Bakersfield Jam.
